Set amidst 26 acres of parkland, Bunratty Castle and Folk Park offers a captivating journey through Ireland's history. The centerpiece, Bunratty Castle, is a meticulously restored 15th-century fortress.

The Cliffs of Moher Experience
One of Ireland’s favourite visitor experiences & tourist attractions, the Cliffs of Moher tower over the rugged West County Clare coast.

Visually spectacular, the Cliffs of Moher sit astride the striking landscape of the Burren on one side and the Wild Atlantic Ocean on the other. Rising out of the Atlantic waters to a height of over 700ft at O’Brien’s Tower and running along the coast of Clare for almost 14 kilometres, or 8 miles, the Cliffs of Moher were formed over 320 million years ago, and today form part of the Burren and Cliffs of Moher UNESCO Global Geopark.

The Cliffs of Moher is in a Special Protection Area for Birds and Wildlife. The magnificent Cliffs on the Wild Atlantic Way host major colonies of nesting sea birds and are one of the country’s most important bird-breeding sites.

Inis Cealtra
Discover the Sacred Island of Inis Cealtra. Nestled within the serene waters of Lough Derg, Inis Cealtra is a historic island steeped in Ireland's monastic heritage.

Once a thriving center of spirituality, this island was closely associated with St. Caiman, who established a monastery here in the 6th and 7th centuries. Opening in Spring 2025, the Inis Cealtra Visitors Centre will offer a captivating exploration of the island’s rich history. Located in the restored rectory building in Mountshannon, the centre will provide visitors with a comprehensive understanding of this sacred site.

Spanning 50 acres, Inis Cealtra is a treasure trove of historical remains. Explore the ruins of six ancient churches, an early monastic cell, a cemetery, and over 80 recumbent graves adorned with inscriptions and crosses. The island’s most iconic landmark, the 80-foot round tower, stands as a testament to its enduring significance.

Knappoague Castle & Gardens

Vandeleur Walled Gardens Vistor Centre
A visit to the Vandeleur Gardens & Visitor Centre in Kilrush offers a horticultural feast that will ease your soul. Delve into the rich and turbulent history of the Vandeleur Family and their relationship with the town of Kilrush.

We are set on 170 hectares of native woodlands. On your visit, enjoy walks in the woods, browse the wonderful garden centre, or enjoy lunch in the Woodlands Bistro. While here call into our Visitor Centre for a glimpse into a time gone by, when the Vandeleur Family lived in the very grand Kilrush House with stables and a walled garden to be envied. Learn about their contribution to Kilrush as we know it now, and also their part in the dark history of the area.

Mull over this conflicting history as you stroll in the gorgeously restored Walled Garden which offers to botanical feast for all who visit here.
